Here’s Irina Kulikova playing Viktor Kozlov’s Ballad for Beautiful Elena on a fantastic 1967 Ignacio Fleta spruce top. This particular guitar is a bit rare as it features CSA rosewood for the back and sides, where Fleta used Indian rosewood on most of his guitars.

Wow, GSI videos are really becoming a standard for how to record the classical guitar.

Man, what beautiful trebles. And she really brings them out to full fruition. Very few guitarists in the world can play at her level… IMO.

    Thanks for the post!

This piece is on her Russian music CD. Victor Kozlov music is a little hard to find, but you can also contact him directly at kozlovvv@mail.ru
Mr Kozlov compositions are really great for the guitar player. Fabulous melodies that lay perfectly on the fretboard.
