Here’s guitar #120 from our celebration of luthier Pepe Romero Jr.’s 200th guitar at the Guitar Salon International showroom. #120 is a cedar and cypress guitar with mechanical pegs, which Pepe Sr. used to premiere Torroba’s ‘Concierto en Flamenco’ featuring themes from Sabicas’ music. Pepe Sr. plays some of Sabicas’ Farruca for us.

    Cypress and spruce, this is one of the all time top ten guitars that I have ever heard. Maybe, it is just my imagination, but there seems to to be magic in the cypress/cedar guitars,
