We have more videos from Cordoba of their new Master Series guitars, which are handmade in California and based on designs from the masters. This week we have our friend Tavi Jinariu playing Stanley Myers’ Cavatina on the Master Series Hauser, and Segovia’s transciption of El Noi de la Mare on the Master Series Rodriguez.

Beautiful performances and recordings, the instruments sound very good. But above all, Mr. Jinariu’s phrasing is outstanding and a lesson in musical interpretation.

Nice Guitar. As to the musical interpretation it looks as if it is played “from chord to chord”, somewhat shy, the music is therefore limited by the technique – at least it creates this image. Nice Recording & Video !

I have always enjoyed this man’s playing. Lovely color. Never showy. The shifts in this latter piece are of course tricky to connect (thus the rolling which does not feel overdone to me). I think he does a great job. He brings out the beauty of the instrument.
