OK, I think this is relevant to the forum since YouTube is a big part of what many of us are doing. I'm new at this. I have Sony Vegas 6 with DVD Architect (Not that DVD Architect will have nothing to do with what I'm trying to accomplish but then again, maybe neither will Sony Vegas.) I also have some video-editing software that came with my camcorder. So after looking through everything I have, I still don't think I have what I need to compress my full-sized video file into Mpeg-4, which I think is what is best for applications with YouTube? There are several options for rendering in the Sony Vegas, but Mpeg-4 is not one of them. My options in Vegas are: .aif, .ac3, .mpg, .ogg, .mov, .rm, .wma, .wmv. I think I'm gonna still try and find out what I need in order to render into Mpeg-4 but if I'm unable to, which of these other formats would be the one to use?
I hope these questions aren't too laborious for this forum, or inappropriate, but I do know that there are people here (Todd, etc..) who are very knowledgeable on these things.

Thanks Faya! Actually, I've figured this one out already and am moving on to my next major ordeal. I'm now trying to figure out the HTML code for embedding third party videos on to MySpace. I used to have this damn code and now I can't figure it out. It's pretty damn amazing how hard it is to get this freakin' code, too. What I mean by "third party" is "Hello World" video. It's a video that I've already uploaded to Hello Word. I know I'm stretching it now but here's the code just for s**ts and giggles:
<iframe width='320' height='240' frameborder='0' marginheight='0' marginwidth='0' noresize scrolling=no src='http://ravenas.razorstream.com:80/eve-service/player.jspx?enc=7mz%2BxjBVsUidYfjYmhQVuw%3D%3D&h=240&w=320'></iframe>
If anyone happens to know how to embed this code into MySpace to get the video to appear there, I'm a happy camper! :)
