From the classical guitar catalog
http://www.guitarsalon.com/products.php?categoryid=2, I wish the "Availability:" value would be colored so it stands out. I can quickly skip the "out of stock" items. just my 2 pennies.

Maybe we should have a button or pull down menu to exclude out of stock items. I will look into this as we make our first round of corrections/improvments to the new site.

Hello,
As Tim said, we'll look into adding a option that can hide Out of Stock items completely.
For the time being, are you aware you can sort by availability? You can either do it from the "Sort by:" drop-down menu, or if you're viewing as a list, also by clicking the "Availability" column header. This will at least group all the In Stock items together.
Anyway, stay tuned. We'll try to work out an option to hide them as well.

How about an option to search by material? Like spruce/ cedar... or rosewood/ maple/ cypress/ etc.

Well, you can sort by wood, which is especially effective in the "list" mode. At the moment, woods are not a field that the actual search looks in, though.
