I've played the classical game for awhile now, but am interested in learning Flamenco...however, I want to do it right from the get go, can you please recommend some good, quality starting literature for my to look at. I'm talking about the bare basics, as I want to solidly build my flamenco repatiore....thank you.

...yes, I know some words are misspelled...been grading papers for about 3 hours now, so please forgive me :)

You'll need more than just paper. Grab Oscar Herrero's video; Flamenco paso y paso.
Start with the beginner level.

You will also need some glue or hardener for your thumb nail, if you
want to keep it in shape for classical guitar as well. Excessive pulgar (thumb) lines will wear it down on the left side.
Also keep in mind, lots of rasgueados will wear your nails down, unless
you use some glue or hardener.
Just use it minimally, and it will protect your nails, with out changing your tone.
(hopefully :) )

What type of information/literature are you looking for, musical, practical application or history? Also, are you more interested in original 'puro' style/era, late 19th-early 20th century such as Sabicas, Ramon Montoya etc. or newer, later 20th century like Vincente Amigo, Tomatito? Listening as often/much as possible is a great start.
