Just wanted to share a positive experience. About 2 months ago I felt compelled and ready to tackle... The Bulerias!

I told myself I need to internalize the compás first before I play anything. So for a about a month I just listened.

Tapped. Thought. Listened. Driving to work and running, I listened to bulerias.

So this weekend, I felt confident that I have the rhythm internalized and started a few falsetas. I did it. I would miss some notes here and there, but in my head and my internal rhythm I have it figured out.

Slowly but surely sure does work... :)

Good job, Anjelo!

In a way, bulerias is the easiest way to "get" compas. Ironically, I think it's the faster tempo that makes it hard to get too complicated with rhythm. It's fast enough that it's always easy to hear where you are.

Honestly, just think in threes and you'll stay on. And land on the 10 when you do a fill. :p

Hi Dave! I agree, the challenge was to play it up to speed and making it sound natural and unrushed at such speed.
