hi
I am a person living in Saudi Arabia
Perhaps I was the only classical guitarist in my country
Therefore
When I want to buy a guitar or accessories ,
I'm totally on my friends hands in guitar salon
thy are my ears
my eyes that see the guitars
and i Was purchased from them so far,
more than seven guitars in a total of about 40000 U.S. dollars
for me and my students
the didn't let me down not in any of the guitars
Both in quality or specifications requested by me
Of course,
thanks to my good friend
Hugo Castaneda,
who is the person am dealing with
The patience he gave me of my many and sometimes tedious questions

i Was pouring on the generosity of his morals and kind treatment
i thank him
And all friends in g s i very much

i just bay a Teodoro Peres guitar
. It has agrate, moody,
haunting, and very full sound. Just beautiful.
Thank you from my heart my dear, Hugo

And may god guide you,
Respect and appreciation
Adel

Hi Adel nice to meet you.I find it strange that the Classical Guitar is relatively unused instrument in your part of the world. My perception of Tarrega is that he has very strong Moore influences due to the Muslim Conquest of Spain centuries before him.Maybe its that Arabian Music has influenced Western music but not acceptable the other way round due various reasons.Would my sterio- type perception be correct.

Adil -- I just picked up the music for "Julia Florida" and found your performance of that piece on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChnZAAGfXd0. Beautifully played, and your guitar has a truly gorgeous sound! I was glad to have stumbled upon that. And I have to admit to a bit of surprise at seeing someone in Saudi headwear playing music from South America! Really lovely, thanks.

hello Tony,
first off i'd like to thank you for giving the time
to comment on my post :)

secondly, what you said is true about the influence the Arabs
had on the Spanish music after the Muslim conquest.
but the problem is that i live in a country which has some
extremists who have some very extreme thoughts and rules regarding religion,
which by the way Islam is not related to it in any way,
and one of these extreme thought is that they say that
listening to music is one of the great sins..
the reason for that is that they mix between the sinful music which
urges rage, sex, drugs , etc with the more moral music such as the classic music

but with the help of some good and right religious men
there would be a better and balanced understanding regarding this topic
also my personal efforts to prove that there is a
type of music which is so classy and sophisticated,
which is of course the classic music which i play.
