I am an intermediate level classical student and have been looking for solo guitar sheet music for Malaguena. Since there are a lot of Malaguenas around I am looking for the most popular one. I have a tape of it by the Boston Pops from 1984 which identifies it as: Malaguena [from "Andalucia"}[Lecouna].This was an orchestral arrangement.I don't know if a solo guitar version exists except that I heard Charro play it on TV several years ago. Have not been able to locate it here at GSI or at Mel Bay.I figure that asking a large group of top notch guitarists would get me some info. Can anyone help? Thanks.

The following web site has a simple arrangement that you can download: http://www.guitardownunder.com/classical.html Good luck!

I have heard a version of Malaguena by Pepe Romero. It has one guitar, and it pops out nearly every spanish expressive technique you could think of in one piece of music. And it goes for 5:21. It would be intermediate to advanced level, I assume. But I haven't tried to learn it
