I am looking to buy a new professional quality guitar and have narrowed my search to a couple guitars. The Almansa 459 cutaway and the Almansa Professional jacaranda. I have looked for detailed pictures and reviews of these products and haven't been able to find much. From what i do know these look to be good choices but i was wondering if anybody had any suggestions or more information. Also, does anyone know the difference between the professional jacaranda and the gran professional jacaranda? Thanks for any help,

~Matt

Why Almansa?

Almansa is a good guitar, but I don't think it's a professional level instrument. Depending on the price range, you may be able to find a lot more guitar in a handmade instrument. Feel free to call us.

alhambra?

Ok i have found out more about almansa and decided that isn't the way to go. I have now decided on either the alhambra 11c, or luthier india. Anyy comments on those?

Alhambra

I strongly suggest the Luthier version of the Alhambra if you are going this route. This is an entirely handmade guitar with excellent materials, good balance, quality of tone and very playable. You might also check the Rafael de Cordoba 1a India. Very comparable guitar for the money. Feel free to contact me directly if I can be of further assistance.

Go by the sound

Find a great classical guitar shop where they will let you spend some time playing the different instruments; because this is the only thing that matters. YOu could have a guitar from the most prestigious luthier you can imagine. This doesn't mean it is necessarily his best work. Shop by sound!!!

Dont get a cutaway! TK

Why not? Are you talking soundwise or what?
