Disturbing nailsounds

Hi people! I´m having a problem when playing fast scales, I hope you can help.
I have been "searching" for a good nailshape for a very long time. At the moment, I think I have found one. The tone I can produce is very loud and clear. But there`s one problem:
Only when I play fast scales with apoyando (imimim...) then the notes aren`t clear anymore, and one can hear the sound of nails attaching the strings. At first, I thought they were too long, but then I made them just as long as the fingertip, but that didn`t change anything! Please help me!!

Charles Duncan Book

See a book called The Art of Classical Guitar Playing by Charles Duncan for a good discussion of nail filing.

My index, middle, and ring fingernails on my right hand are all slightly different in shape. The index is a slightly squared, the middle bends down slightly, and the ring fingernail is perfect. I've found over the years that a rounded nail style extending no more than about 1/8" for all the nails (including the thumb) works best for me. I use #600 wet/dry sandpaper daily to maintain them. Nail sounds are usually due to some error in technique.

You are hearing a sound we call "nail click".

This is happening because you are not planting your
fingers on the strings correctly.
You have to first hit the skin, then the nail on the release.
Plant, release plant release plant release.

If you hit nail, you get the smack or click.
