Can anyone help me?
I'm searching for a recording of 'Preludio Criollo' - Rodrigo Riera. I know it has been recorded by Luis Quintero, but I have been unable find anywhere that stocks his music. Does anyone know where it may be available, or of another artist that has recorded this beautiful piece.
Thankyou all
Jon

:) I was looking for music by Rodrigo Riera some time ago as well.
After some searching I did find this Web Site with MP3 files of his music.
The site is from The Universidad Central de Lara-which is were
(I beleive) Rodrigo Riera is from. I understand this was recorded
by himself and his son for two guitar.
Beautiful piece, but unfortunately I gave-up on it (left hand was too difficult for me). I did however learn two other pieces by Riera Cancion Carorena and Serenata Ingenua.
Hope this helps
Rafael

Thanks Rafael. That's one site I hadn't come across. Sorry to hear you gave up on the piece, but you are right about some of the chord changes - they take some serious slow motion repetition.
BTW, I have found out you can order CD's directly from Luis Quintero called 'Joyas Latinoamericanas'. They have works by Gentil Montana and Rodrigo Riera.
Thanks again
Jon
