hey, there are a bunch of emoticons to the left, and i thought it would be really interesting to start a dialogue using them. the rule could be that the first person, i guess me by default, would use an emoticon discussing guitar stuff and the next person would have to use the following (to the right--and at the end of the row, the first left one on the row below) emoticon in their reply. and of course there are more (especially mr. green). and of course, the written reply has to be what the emoticon says.

hey, it is friday 3 p.m. here in boston and i want to go home and i have to hang around and ................i am sure you all know what i mean. so here goes:

when i smell a guitar that has been recently french polished, this is how i feel :D

:( When I listen to 'Una Limosnita por el Amor de Dios' (Agustín Pió Barrios Mangoré) played by John Williams.

A beautiful piece of music inspired by the desperate knocks of a poor old lady on the maestro's door, which are echoed throughout the composition. And also because it was the last piece written by the maestro.

And :( because I can't play it - yet

too cool another taker. is that a frown for how john williams played it? or how the music makes you feel? i suspect the latter.

man, work is totally hellish right now--taking my mind off of wood and nylon.

anyone else out there want to click the button to give a reply and use those wonderful emoticons you will see when you post a reply.
