although books and tips help, the best way to learn a skill such as the right hand for classical guitar is to find someone who teaches classical guitar. although it may look easy on videos, that ease the video teacher is displaying is the result of years of study. it is very deceiving to a novice.

one of things a teacher (in the flesh) can do is work with your fingers as you are learning the skill so as to develop good technique and prevent you from learning bad technique. it is amazing how easy it is to learn bad technique and how much work is required to un-do the damage. additionally, although one may think they have good technique of many pieces, it is that next step upwards that can really identified the weaknesses, bad technique, etc.

since you did not say you want to learn to play guitar (your question only focused on the right hand) the assumption is you are coming from the world of steel strings. if this is the case, you may want address the left hand--it is used differently in the world of nylon.

if money is an issue, try "hiring" a teacher for a limited number of sessions to teach just technique. sounds like managed care but, you gotta do what you gotta do. :D 8)
