Hi,

I'm currently looking in to purchasing some type of chair or bench to use while playing classical guitar, both for practice and playing out. I have been looking into 'The Guitar Chair' (www.theguitarchair.com) as an option.

Does anyone have any feedback on this particular product? Are there any other recommendations that you may have? I took notice that GSI here has a guitar type bench for purchase also.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks all! 8)

Saf-Dar,

I have had the Guitar Chair for about 18 months now. It is a fantastic product. I highly recommend it. It allows you to play longer without stress.

I had difficulty with sitting and playing for long periods of time as I have some lower back problems. The chair helped me enormously. It could be the best $300. you spend to make your playing more enjoyable.

Good luck.

Joao:

Yes, I use a footstool when playing Classical. The chair was designed for Classical players. It is also very comfortable in other positions such as right leg crossed over left, modern Flamenco position etc. It folds flat and is very portable.

Hope this helps.
