All/GSI,
What's the scoop on the Rafael Moreno Rodriguez guitars? The description of the cedar top here on GSI is highly intriguing. Wondering if it is similar to cedar Bernabes? I love a dark, warm, focused guitar (I have a Bernabe). Also, what other guitars does he make? Tried internet and came up w/ zero so far - does he have a site? Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
- Scott

Moreno Rodriguez is an excellent, relatively young Granada builder. In my view, he is more like Bernabe than he is like Marin Montero who generally influences all Granada makers quite a bit.

I like Rodriguez's guitars very much and decided to carry them after meeting him in Madrid a few years ago. At the time he showed me a cedar, cypress guitar which I though Pepe Romero would like and arranged a meeting. Pepe bought the guitar and still owns it.

In general, his guitars have a very punch sound, clear and crisp tone with excellent workmanship. If you own a Bernabe, you would probably like the character of this instrument.

Hope this helps, but feel free to call us if you have further questions.
