Guitar recommendation please

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and I need some advice on buying a classical guitar (cedar top). My price limit is around $1000. What are the best guitars in this range as far as tone, volume, and playability? I have played guitar for several years but I'm new to the classical style so you opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot!

You might want to give a look at Cordoba guitars. One my guitars is a Cordoba, and for the money, they are good guitars that are very well made and have a good sound. There is a post in the forum that talks about them more in detail.

if 10 people respond, you may get 10 different answers and one answer may be to broaden your range either through a new expenditure or buying an used guitar. but the 10 folks above would probably tell you--or should tell you-- to play the guitar since your ears and hands will be living with that guitar.
