Hey guys, Im a new user in here so I thought I would drop in and say a little about myself.. My name's Trevor, I'm 15, and I live in Arizona. I listen to..well..Rock. I've been loving Megadeth for about a year, and they're almost all I listen too. I also like Pantera and some Motorhead. I like Megadeth because, I think they're complete rock and roll, and you can't get any better! Well, I joined this community to get some opinions. I've got about $500 stowed away in the bank right now, which I was going to use for a dirtbike. The thought popped into my mind, that I might want a guitar. In my opinion, It seems that they're cant be much better than picking it up, and bursting loud, rock through your fingertips. Your music to mold. Now, I have a few questions. First off, how much should I be paying for my first, decent, guitar? Really guys, I know next to nothing about this! I should be looking for an electric guitat, I think, deffinetley not an acoustic! Second, how much can lessons run? How often should I be going to lessons, and where should I look for them? Sorry for all the newbie questions, but I think that this may be something I want to try out. Thanks!
Added: I got a few suggestions from a few people on a LiveJournal Group. I was suggested maybe a Squier Strat? They have a package deal thing for $279 but then again, I was also told that this may not be a quality guitar. Also, the Ibanez RG370 and the Ibanez GSA60. Im thinking about the Ibanez GSA60, because it's only about $204 on Music123. Sorry for the long post!
