Hi all,
I have a few questions about the guitar I had for about ten years now. I started playing on my own a long time ago and for the last few years I have been taking not-so-frequent lessons. I believe I can say that I am somewhere between a beginner and a good intermediate. My guitar is a nice solid cedar top mahogany back and sides Spanish made Rodrigo and I love playing it. Over the last year I discovered a few small greyish spots on the sides and edges of the back. The guys at the local guitar store said it might be humidity trapped between the wood and the varnish. I was also told that it might be because of a bad chemical reaction between my sweat and the polish of the guitar. What do yo guys think? Is there any way of preventing it and can something be done about the existing spots? From my estimation they do not affect the tone. Actually, the more I play it I feel the better it sounds.
Thanks a lot...

PS: It feels nice to be a member of a classical guitar group...
