I've been enjoying a cd put out by Chandos call "Music from the novels of Louis de Bernieres" featuring Craig Ogden and Alison Stephens. Wow. I really like the pieces by Lauro and Llobet. Short but beautiful. There is quiet a variety of music on this cd. Can anyone recommend some of his other cds? Are they similar to the content of this cd?

I also have the cd you mention. It is very enjoyable but I don't think its particularly representative of Craig Ogden's other work. That album is guitar and mandolin (Alison Stevens, I think) versions of some famous & not so famous pieces. He also has a cd out of the 'Concierto de Aranjuez' and a new release containing songs with guitar accompaniment. i'm sure there's others in his back catalogue but no others with mandolin.

I was luck enough to hear him play the Concierto de Aranjuez live at the Royal Albert Hall a few months ago - breathtaking playing!
