Hello all. My name is Todd. I figured i'd introduce myself
and give you some of my info.
I play solo flamenco and classical guitar. I play a Brune model30f.
Its a cypress/spruce flamenco in the design style of Marcelo Barbero.
I use Hannanbach 728 basses, and Goldin trebles.
I love Sabicas, and Julian Bream.
My goal is to play solo concerts at some point.

So, anyway, here's some mp3's of my playing. They were done on the
same guitar, but with different mic placements.
Hope you like em;. You have a very nice forum here. I look forward
to chatting with you guys and gals.

I like those recordings... They sound very good. You are clearly very talented. This forum is fantastic, too, I agree.

First of all: very nice.
But if you dont mind i'd like to make some suggestions on the piece by Lobos. You could be more free in the rythem, not rubato. It should remain in tempo. I mean variations in timing. For instance the returning line of notes : G# B E G# and then the chords. I belive these notes are written in 8th notes(?). HOw about playing them punctuated? That would give - dotted 8th 16th - and again - chords. Or play the 8ths in jazz swing.I like to play with the rythem in this piece in particular because it has so many repeats, to be honest (i dont want to piss you off) I think it is a somewhat boring piece. Do you play the 4th piece in the suite. Have you noticed the many repeats? I know this is because it is an original structure (Gavotte?) but I cant play it like that or I will fall asleep. Now dont get me wrong I love these pieces but I just make some adjustment to them.

I also want to ask you how you recorded them. The quality is so high! I record myself with minidisc but that nowhere near this quality. PLease tell me where and how (microphone , mixing) you recorded.

Two thumbs up :D
