I love this one what I recorded @Feb.9 2003. I put it to my homepage now.
It's not too difficult to play but with peaceful feeling.

Very nicely done. I like the piece as well as the performance. The 'suspended' 16th notes (like on page 3 line 6) sounded very nice. I don't think the tempo changes on page 1 line 7 are very authentic, however. Overall, again, very nicely done!

I like it very much ,u really feel it .U're not just playing smth by heart, this is what i call interpretation.Man ,you are good!!! very baroque sounding those hammer ons,i liked it very much.I want more bach from u.Have more mp3's?

By the way do u happen to know prelude from suite no.4 for lute?
I'm studyying this piece now, u can download the score free from

http://www.eythorsson.com/guitar/solo2.html and many other things .

Do u know gavotte en rondeau from the same suite (u can find it also free
on www.eythorsson.com)?I learned this piece but i am unsatisfied because
it sounds very different from segovia 's transcription.Happen to own the segovia 's transcription ?

What guitar did u used for the recording and what strings?

and another question are u a professional CG player?U sure sound like someone who knows more than when to play the notes and where to put the fingers on the frets.

I'm very serious, listening to u remembered me why i love guitar .
sorry for the english .

Quite impressive. Just a few questions for you.

How long have you been playing guitar?
Are you studying with anyone or are you learning on your own?
What kind of recording equipment are you using?

Thanks for your opinion. I'll note @page1 line 7, may improve it next time I play.

Thanks again. My playing is still far from excellent. Something may not authentic like absmiths says.
Yes, I do have other records of J.S.Bach. I love the music of J.S.Bach. But
I think it's more difficult to play in the right way. Even like how to put
your fingers, you have to think about it a lot to make it out.
I happen to take a record of prelude from suite no.4 for lute in 1998, but I was failed to finish it @ that time.
I'll try to post all my Baroque records later.

1. I started to touch the guitar more than 15 years ago. I like it as a hobby. my playing time is desultorily, don't remember I stopped playing how many times.
2. Yes, I do have an instructor, he's my friend and he's a amateur too. but I can say he's 10 times better than me, specially the way he interpret the music, I'm sure some of the pieces are far better than the most famous guitarist playing on CDs.
3. My recording equipment is very simple:
Computer: Celeron III 1G CPU, AC'97 soft sound card integrate with mainboard
Software: WinXP, Nero wave editor (comes with Nero Burning Rom, 'cause I'm lazy, don't want to install any other recording software)
Microphone: normal internet talking MIC (cost <US$2), you can see it as the blue one in the video:

Thanks Todd.
I have settled down in LA for 3 months. knowing language and the US culture is most important for me to survive here. It's pretty tough for me now.
Yes, I think playing Bach with guitar is hard. even some masters still can not make it well.
by the way, where r u living in?
