Greetings Southern California Guitar Afficianados.

This is a busy time for those afflicted with CGCS (classicalguitar concert syndrome.)

On the USC campus Gustavo Castro will performing Fri Apr16th at
8:00 PM in the Jeannette MacDonald Hall

Also on the USC campus Elizabeth Busch will be performing Sat Apr 17th
at 8:00 PM at the ASI building.
Check the USC website for a map to locate these venues.

Also on Saturday night Apr 17th at 8:00 PM Rico Stover will performing for the Orange County Guitar Circle at Chapman University. Rico Stover is THE AUTHORITY on Agustin Barrios Mangore and for a mere $7.00 not to be missed. Check www.ocgc.org for details

On Sunday Apr 18th 4:00PM three well known gutarists associated with USC will be performing at the South Passadena Public Library Community Room (1115 El Centro Street).
Brian Head, James Smith, and Kenton Youngstrom will be doing works by Falla, Rak, Bach, Gershwin and More.

On Monday Apr 19th 7:00 PM The yearly Master Class given by Pepe Romero will be at the USC ASI building. This is an experience simply not to be missed. It is free and you get to see a true master teach accomplished musicians.
Another Pepe Romero Master Class will be held the Following day (Tues Apr 20th) At 12 noon in the PIC building room 137. This is a rather intimate setting and there is usually ample opportunity to interact with the Maestro.

Also on the 20th after the Master class head to Pasadena Presbyterian Church (585 E. Colorado Blvd) for a USC Classical Guitar Department Extravaganza. A pre-concert lecture starts at 6:00PM with the concert at 7:00


On Sunday Apr 25th The USC Classical Guitar Department will be doing their Spring Recital at 2PM. This is also on the USC Campus at the Newman Recital Hall.

This ought to keep all you Southern Cal Classical guitar people happy for a while.
