Dry skin?

:roll: Hi, I'm new to this forum and need a little advice. I just took up the guitar again after a 45 year lapse (I'm 67), and am learning Classic and a bit of Flamenco style. I have very dry skin, and the nice callus that has built up wants to lift up at the edges and peel off. What can I do to keep this from happening, other than lotion up a lot? Nice info on this site.

Im not as experianced as people hear but I hear soaking them In warm water softens, This would only be sort term though.

Try a product called Cetaphil. It is a moisturizer. Get the green label. It is available at most of the larger drug stores. Put a little on your fingertips after you play and before you go to sleep. It will help your problem.
