over the past couple of weeks i have seen on the flameno world site an ad for the c.d. "bari" from the group "ojos de brujo". i was borders sat. and they have a policy of letting folks listen to a c.d. in their store c.d. player--A GREAT POLICY. anyway, i listened to about a minute of each track and here is my opinion.
the music is a cross of pop-ish flamenco and hiphop/house music. neither style played would be considered the cutting edge of each genre and the mix is--well there is a reason why st. bernards and poodles do not mate. some can live with such an offspring, but most will probably take a look at the mutt and run for their lives. glad borders has that policy--saved me $17.
