I've been using "pledge" on my Aria ac-80 classical guitar for a few years now, and it seems to be alright with ebony and spruce soundboard. I've also tried with with my new kohno classical guitar, as long as a polish doesn't contain silicone, it's ok!!!

Well!! It's funny you asked!!
I was a chemist for 35 years and have developed a formula for the Best fretboard conditioner you have ever used. It will penetrate quickly without any greasy residue..No wax in it!!
I hate to plug my ebay auctions, But check out the polishes and cleaners for acoustic guitars..On ebay...My ebay name is Stanton Leather.
If you have trouble finding it let me know..
