The 14th International Guitar Symposium in Iserlohn/Germany 2005 takes place from Sunday the 14th of August until Sunday the 21st of August 2005 in Iserlohn (100km east of Cologne/Germany - 200 km north of Frankfurt/Germany).
The course offers 12 concerts, way over 500 (!) individual lessons, group classes, ensemble playing, 4 lectures and exhibitions by 25 guitar makers from 12 countries and is one of the biggest classical guitar festival world-wide. This years festival will feature concerts, classes and lectures by:

Each participant will receive four (!) individual lessons (all classes are open to public) and several group lessons such as scale-classes, "finger-aerobics" etc. The fee (EUR 450,- ca. $ 460 US includes all lessons, 12 concerts and full board accommodation with great food (four meals a day , vegetarian or kosher food available) simple, but clean and very nice single and double rooms. The course takes place in the Evangelische Akademie of Iserlohn/Germany (100 km east of Cologne or 80 km east of Dusseldorf or 200km north of Frankfurt). The academy is located in a beautiful park which gives the opportunity for various ball games or just to relax or rehears.
Hundred seventy active students from all over the world (last year 44 (!) countries) will be able to participate in this festival making it one of the biggest classical guitar events in the world.
The deadline for applications is July 15th, 2005.
