...miramadar. Well, not really. Anyway, I came across this forum and thought it would be nice to investigate. But once I started reading through some of the posts and realizing that there's a lot of knowledge here, I figured I'd better join up! Its great that this is available as a resource!!
I've been playing classical guitar for about 10 years now (although I put the instrument down almost entirely for 4 of those years...shame on me!!). I've had 1 year (2 semesters) of "formal" training that I acquired in college. I plan on visiting this forum often and picking the brains of all members.
I own an Alhambra 9C guitar that I love (any Alhambra fans out there?). My skill level I would consider intermediate. I've worked through most of the Carcassi estudios, some of the Sor estudios and other stuff as well. I'm currently working on Asturias and Mazurka Choro. Mazurka wasn't all that hard to learn, but I'm having a time with Asturias. I've only been at it a few weeks though...
Living in Eastern Kentucky, I have no opportunity to actually take lessons...unless I drive a great distance. So, the information I find here I will truly cherish. I thank everyone in advance for their help and advice.
