Just posting to make myself known to the group here. I am returning to classical guitar after a three year hiatus that took me into blues and slide guitar. I am currently living in Tennessee, just southeast of Nashville, but will probably be returning to my home area of NH in the coming weeks. I became fascinated with the classical guitar about 12 years ago and decided to take up its study at the tender age of 35. I eventually found a great teacher in a gentleman out of Boston by the name of David Patterson, who is the epitome of a great teacher....generous with his time, articulate, amazingly talented, and patient in a way that rivalled the saints (which came in handy with a student like me). I am currently trying to get back on track with a couple of Sor etudes (#5 and #13), and trying to not play Bach's Prelude in Cm with a swing rhythm. Every once in awhile for fun I tend to fool around with a Brazilian/Bossa Nova tune just to take the edge off. Anyway, here I am......................B. Ryan
