 I don't know if I am a tradicionalist, but I wouldn't leave a classical guitar for an electric one. A classical is such a fine musical instrument by itself, and the music that comes from it has only to do with its construction and your ability as a player with no intervention from a 3rd source such as electricity. RECONSIDER PEPE. :?

What kind of electric do you want? I would reccomend a les paul standard because if you finger pick and the humbuckers won't be in your way and you can pull on the pick guard when trashing with your thumb. Of course if you use a pick then buy anything nice :) Cheap electrics suck (and will cost a lot to fix GARUNTEED)... Also don't forget to buy Joe Satriani live in San Francisco because it has a lot of close ups when he solos and features a truly inspiring bass solo by the amazing Stu Hamm (lol it starts slow and at first I thought it was a joke and thought that the croud was booing and I skipped the track but when I actually watched the whole thing I was blown away and realized that the crowd was yelling, "Stu!!!" ). Anyway good luck and as far as any naysaying towards the switch I would say that it's nice to be able to play both 8)

Michelangelo: I can see you have not read (viewed) the whole string. I would never leave CG. I already reconsidered, if I go into electric, it would be in addition to NOT instead of. It is that those two sounded so gooooood. Maybe for the Eagles' style music. Remember Hotel California?

And when you are standing, don't forget to hold the guitar really low down, below the hips. Your wrist will be bent at a 90 degree angle to the forearm, which will inhibit your left hand from working correctly, and might give you tendonitis and/or carpel tunnel syndrome, but it looks so cool. And gyrate the hips while your're doing it. Want to get those groupies, excited, you know. THey won't notice that you are playing Recuerdos de la Alhambra.

I fell in love with those three guitars of the picture, they sounded so good.

I've always owned accoustic guitars. I've always had it somewhere in the
back of my mind,...that if there's a power failure...it's not just the television
that goes dead. So does the electric guitar.

Things like that occurr to me as well. I'd always prefer a muscle powered tool (if one will do the job) than a power tool. The muscle powered tool can be relied on to work where the power one cannot, simply because a power failure (of any description) cripples the machine. Here's an example:
What's faster, a car or a person walking? I claim the answer is (under certain conditions), a person walking. Let's say the distance to be traveled is a thousand miles. A person can walk a thousand miles if necessary, but a car can't go that far without refueling.

Funny you say that. Last year, I purchased a band saw and a table saw thinking that it will ease the work I did with my hand saw. However, right after I purchased those electric tools, I found in Home Depot a hand saw named SHARK TOOTH, taht is a wonderful thing to use with my hands. I work faster with this hand saw than with the electric stuff.

Pepe, those guitars on your sight are just beautiful. You really make those things? Gee. I wish I could do that. But that's what people sometimes say when they hear me play. But I'm just playing, you're MAKING them. Is that 3 diferent ones? The one with the full view looks like a vihuella body, or baroque guitar, in that the sound hole looks large for the body, the bouts seems smallish. I love guitars like that, by the way. It looks kind of dainty. It looks like an absolute dream. The wood looks rich, the workmanship superb. Tell you what, I have a busy schedule but I'm willing to try it out for a few years or so to tell you if it's any good, but this isn't an offer I would ordinarily make.

For some reason my post posted twice. I realize that everything I write is worthy of reptition, but if you want you can just read my post twice instead of reading two identical ones, once each.
