for all you lucky folks living in warm climates, here is the report from new england. sat.-sun. 2+ feet of snow, temps near 10F, winds consistently 40+ with gusts up into the 60's. this was nothing--given i was indoors having fun...but soon the fun stopped.... between sun. afternoon and yesterday, at least 4 hours of shoveling (a lot of tossing snow over bushes and other tall obstacles) and driving oh so slow (well you los angeles folks know of this).

you'all should thank your lucky stars..and i should too. cape cod got 3 feet of snow and with high tide, a blizzard, etc. a lot of houses are caked in ice (salt water does freeze when it is on a house).

hey g.s.i....any job openings out there?

travis--where in michigan do you live--i am originally from illinois. a 4 X4 !... i am driving around in a geo metro (the 3 door, 3 cylinder, 1L engine) which is for the most part a great car until it is: the metro vs. 3 ft of snow. my car was completely buried in snow sunday.

kburke: oh the patriots? to be honest, i could care less that a bunch a guys clobber each other for a couple of hours and will get more money in one game than i will for an entire year. am i jealous? of course....i would love to get paid that kind of money playing the guitar.

I live in Jonesville, MI, about 20 minutes from the Ohio border. However, I go to school at Western Michigan Univeristy which is in Kalamazoo

 not two days straight but, parked down
the dirt road way too far back (8 car lengths) plus the
nice deposit from the plow and poof!! plus the obligatory
paths and such. whilst finishing, neighbor came over to say he forgot
to ask if i wanted to borrow the gas fired snow blower
*stoli-cones* yup! lucky's lighting w/ snow? complicated procedure
involving various non accepted, disrespectful and at times nature
defying methods. more on that when improvements evident.
capes? never wore them.....except of course when struck by full moon fever.
gotta run, i've a cold to catch.
