Greetings All, Looking forward to staying inspired and motivated by this forum. I'm an intermediate player, finally got a descent student guitar (Kenny Hill Hauser), now I want to make the most of it.

I have an Alvarez myself (I think that's what it's called!) and have been playing classical for a while. Quite enamoured by the playing of Mr. Parkening right now :) Look forward to knowing how your journey progresses.

Hi there John C, Thanks for the reply. Funny you should mention Maestro Parkening, I feel the same way. I just picked up his volume 2 guitar method. Man is that ever great instuction. If I ever get the opportunity, a master class would be a dream come true. My progress sort of hit a bump, that is until I got the new guitar. With a beautiful instrument, I'm finally starting to understand what the classical guitar is all about. Take care. Larry H.

I was checking out that book at the weekend on the 'net. It seems very reasonably priced. As it is, I have the world of material to work with right now! But still...I could be tempted :) Happy practicing.
