WOW - that is weird looking. Pretty intimidating. I'd have no idea what to do with such a thing. I still want an 8. A 13 (or a 21, if you count every string in every course, like a steel "12" string) is just too much guitar to put on the knee. It approaches the scope of the "battleship" we were talking about earlier today. Looks kind of klugy, too. Like, it's almost like he took a regular guitar and then stuck all those extra strings on it.

hi thraex -
I am still interested, but I confess I've done little about moving the guitars. Somebody emailed me about the John Price, and inquired. I had to fess up that the the fingerboard had dried some, and that it would need a bit of lutherie. I offered the guitar for less than I paid, because of the work needed, but he disappeared.
What to to.......
That's the problem. ALL of my guitars have signs of inadequte humidifying. And I have a lot of them.
I just don't have the money. I am just as interested though. If we could work a trade (which I'm pretty sure would be of no interest to you) I would snap at it.

Libre and thraex ..... Hello!
Yup! ...... Thats an intimidating guitar for shure! Scares me, and I don't
think of myself as easily scared by extra strings. When I look at that guitar
I can't help but think, the luthier/player knew they wanted extended range,
but didn't really know how too do it.

i see you are still interested..
I was asking because I will move from Netherlands after my exam, and since i cant carry all my guitars with me, it is better if i send the ones I amnot using before me, but if you would buy this one then i could send it to you instead.
Hopefully this could work out :)

Hey Libre,
I saw on CNBC Business News this morning that Christies's will be auctioning a 50 carat diamond. You selling one of your little rocks over there for one of these wild guitars?

Hey GSI -
Nah. Our stuff is all on eBay. A 50 carat-er, huh? Pretty impressive. The biggest rock I've seen sold from this company was a 7 (and change) carat Emerald Cut diamond. What a hunk of ice!
