I have a guitar I bought from a college roommate about 10 years ago. The paper inside just has a picture of a guitar and says Fabrica de: Guitarra Espanola "Ramirez" Valencia. Would that make it a Valencia? I guess I'm confused because I'm not sure if that means it's a Valencia, or that it was made in Valencia by who knows which factory. The reason I'd like to know is that one of my daughters (very young) is interested in playing the guitar, so I'm looking for a small child-sized guitar. My guitar seems to sound pretty good (to my completely clueless ears) for an inexpensive guitar, so I was wondering if I could find a small one like it. I don't want to get her an expensive guitar, since she's really young, but I don't want a toy one either. I want to find something that sounds at least somewhat like a real guitar. Does anyone know what kind of guitar mine is, and if so, if they make smaller ones? Thanks.
