I've given up folks. I simply don't have the time to get to where I want to be. I've been victimized by the matrix, so I'm selling my baby.

Yes the matrix is involved. I simply don't have the time to play as I would like to, in order to progress to where I want to be. So, it's back to banjo and acoustic, which I can just pick up and play pretty much.

Oooooo......BAD, BAD, BAD Attitude!!

I remember way back, when I answered one of your first posts.....I said you needed a 'tude adjustment. Never came, huh?? You gotta love the PROCESS, or the end result will never materialize. Seriously, this is not a put-down..... but if you don't enjoy just the practicing, then maybe you SHOULD move on. It's a shame though - perfect pitch and all!

I measure my progress year by year. I'll try to play something today that was a total brick wall one year ago and suddenly it will begin to make sense. It's been that way ever since I started playing. I'll probably never play at the level that I would like to or thought that I would be able to after a few years of playing. I've discovered that the learning never ends but the challenge is something I relish. Learning to play the classical guitar has humbled me more than anything I've ever attempted to do. But, gol'dang it, I'ma gonna keep ona pluggin' away! No offense meant with the 'wimp' comment.

Wow. A long time ago someone much wiser than me told me that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. Kevin - good luck, and if you stick to steel string, check out michael hedges, he passed on a few years ago, but his music is beyond words
