In another thread someone mentioned playing with the metronome like a partner - I think that it was Libre, but I am not sure.
Well, I was there this evening. The Gnome and I had it going on.
Playing with the Gnome actually helped my dynamics and I thought that what I was playing sounded better. I really felt like I was playing music instead of struggling to play music. It is the darndest experience.
I recently recorded a slide piece, "Cripple Creek", and had the computer clicking away at 90 bpm's in my headphones as I recoreded it. It was a simple slide piece, but people really liked it (It is on my site). I had to play with the Gnome because I am not real good at slide yet. I am very glad tyhat I did, it took me to a new level.
I think that I am going to recrod more with the Gnome. I think that it will give me better recordings. Not only that, it will make my MIDI guitar playng easier to manipulate.
