OK, so it's like 90 something degrees here during the day at the humidity around 90% so I have a fan 2 feet away pointed directly at me while I'm practicing. I'm guessing it has something to do with the rectified nylon strings, but my guitar has some really strange sustain especially with open strings. If I'm not touching the strings they ring out like a violin, and incredibly loud. You can feel it throughout the entire guitar like it's going to vibrate itself apart. Kinda like Libre's singing in the stalls. What is even more strange is that particular notes will ring out thru other strings even after the string playing the note has been stopped and then continue on endlessly. I don't know how to explain it, but after playing a high E at the 12th fret and dampening it, it will continue to ring out on the A string without fretting anything. I know it sounds a little nuts, but I'll try and get a vid of it if I can find my webcam.
Anyone have an idea as to what is going on?

It sounds to me that the A string is just vibrating sympathetically. Perhaps the humidity is prolonging the vibration -- :?:

It sounds like everthing is just blowin' in the wind. Turn off the fan! 8)

At that temp and humidity. i'm either indoors with the AC going or out on the deck getting a tan and drinking a Mohito.

Have you checked with the local priest for an exorcism?
