That totally looks like a "photochop" to me.

Although your left hand fingers can and do stretch out over time. Try this... put your hands together in classic prayer position, and place a pencil between the corresponding fingers so that it sits level. The fingers on my left hand are a good 1/4" longer than the fingers on my right hand.

Well, except for the pinky. Damn that accident I had with a soup can lid trying to get it back into the can so I could put it in the recycle bin. :( I severed the tendons at the base of my left pinky. I had surgery to repair the tendons (without that, I wouldn't be able to bend the finger at all), but the doc said it'd never be 100% again.

I went thru months of therapy, the therapist said I had one of the worst possible hand injuries but that my recovery was absolutely remarkable, especially for "someone your age". Don'tcha just want to smack people like that? :)

But if anything, it made me more determined. She told me musicians make the best patients because of their determination to play again. I don't have full extension in that pinky, instead I lost about 1/4" of reach compared to my right hand. But I am grateful that I can still play at all.
