I was wondering how many of you out there actually work out your right hand fingerings for your pieces. Some go as far as to memorize the right hand alone. I work out the right hand in all my pieces I play and see it as being very important. If you use logical fingerings you will make it easier on yourself and won't trip up.

Working out the RH fingering is absolutely essential.
If its contrapuntal you gotta write that stuff in for every note and stick to it.
Chordal music its not so critical, but it is helpful or you start to find yourself
repeating 'a' over and over like I do. Not necessairly bad, but bad if you're not _aware_ of it (if you want the sound of 'a' over and over than its ok...but of course alternation typically sounds smoother)
I will add that I have discoverd that practically every time I slip up in playing its because I'm not totally sure of what my right hand is doing at that moment.

I work it out on tricky sections. For the most part, it comes pretty naturally.
