I read this interesting interview with Paul Balmer director of "Julian Bream: My Life in Music" and thought I'd share.

One of the more interesting quotes:
"He [JB] idolised Django - he considers him a bigger influence on his work than Andrés Segovia." :shock:
I haven't seen the film and did not know this about Bream, but it makes perfect sense now.
He apparently owns a Selmer guitar and I would pay anything to get a recording of JB banging out some La Pompe. :lol:
