Gentlemen:
Why not cause the cursor to default to the "User Name" field upon entering the log in screen?
I cannot remember the number of times I have selected Log In and merrily typed my user name and password only to discover that I had not manually placed the cursor in the User Name field!
Thanks,
Curtis

Hi Curtis!
Well, that's a new one! I honestly don't know how to modify something like that. I'll see what I can do - stay tuned.
For now, the other option is just to check the "Log me in automatically" box, so you'll never have to use that screen.
Hope that helps!
Cheers,
Dave

I'm aware of that option, but I routinely delete all cookies from my PC which eliminates this fix as a possibility for me.
Most databases allow one to select the default field for the cursor, upon opening the window. Check with your SYSOP.

Did you ever get the impression that some people simply are not satisfied with FREE?

I use a program called Cookies Manager. It's free, very tiny (only a 19K download) and works well, allowing you to protect/save cookies for certain sites that require log-ins. Once you have gone thru your cookies and saved the ones you want, you never have to do it again, just select all the new cookies and delete them.
