Hello everyone,

This is a video I would like to share with you. He is José Bermúdez Escudero "El Japonés" from Salamanca, Spain. Not only is he a great guitarist but a wonderful person and friend. I had the great fortune to study with him for 2 years. Yes, he is 100% pure gypsy. It is not easy to enter into the world of the gypsies but he and his family took me in like a brother. I've know him now for about 12 years and every year when I go back to Salamanca (my wife is from there) I pay him a visit.

As crazy as it my sound, he never practices. He probably has the guitar is his hands about 5 hour/month. 95% of the falsetas he plays are his and he never listens to flamenco records.

¡¡Olé José!!

cheers.

P.S. The young boy in the video is José's nephew. He's only 6 years old.
