"Locust eaters"? Man that's mean! Oh, that was "Lotus eaters." OK, that's much better. I can live with that. It really doesn't look all that appetizing anyway, does it?

CGP - on the newer LAGQ releases from Telarc, each guitar comes through a different speaker on a surround type system, and it says who is playing what in the cd enclosure. When I have seen them, they have usually moved between voicings, if you get a chance to watch their Mel Bay DVD, you can get a better idea of how their interaction is. Great piece, though, they played in on NPR's performance today about two years ago. (I'm guessing part 1 is York though, his Spruce top Daly guitar has a distinctly bright sound, at least live)

I think it does, that's why I listen to it in the car. Nothing like trying to isolate parts in your brain while sitting in traffic. Their CD Latin was the first to do that. It was cool to hear how the Carmen Suite was arranged by messing with the speakers.

I like the sound that both the LAGQ and Russell get on the Telarc disks, it is a very good sound. I don't know if it is the recording process or what, but I know I like the sound they produce on their disks.

By the way, sorry for that brief thread hijack, ClassicalGtrPlyr. I hope I didn't offend anybody. Sometimes my need to be silly overcomes me :)

One more brief little hijack:

Dennis, I plan on hollering at ya soon! I'll be sending you an email.

Talk to you later,
Brian
