Well, I find his playing fascinating and far from funny but I guess if you dig his facial expressions then have at it. :)

Is that duct tape on the fingerboard? I understand guys who play like that (Stanley Jordan) have extremely low action and very sensitive pickups...not to denegrate their talent at all...but that does make it a bit easier to do. It would be nice if his face weren't in the picture!

it's something--tape or paper. To me it looked like tin foil. It's to mute the other half of the string, it makes the playing sound a lot cleaner. I saw Jennifer Batton (Michael Jackson's guitarist on the last few tours) play in a clinic once. She had a thing on a hinge that just popped down onto the fretboard right in front of the nut. She used it while tapping. It just makes it a lot easier to not have strings ringing all over the place.
His facial expressions are hilarious. But at least he has his rockstar attitude down. I guess.

I wonder what would happen if he got a haircut, dressed up, toned down the face and played that on a specially made double neck electric classical? He might take the CG world by storm.
