Hello,

Here is a little video clip of me playing at my friend, José "El japonés"'s house (Salamanca, Spain) this summer. My good friend Rafa was the cameraman. I think he used a little Canon point and shoot camera to record it.

Cheers.

P.S. You're going to need quicktime to play it. I know you think my legs are sexy :-)

Ole!!! I love this sevillanas. I saw your other video of this same piece, and I think this one was a little better. Good job! Any details on the guitar you used?

Great job! I like the punchy tone of your Blanco. I wish Paco would put his Negra into retirement.

Thanks for the comments. The guitar I'm using is a 2006 Juan Miguel Gonzalez (Almeria, Spain) Cedar/Cypress. It's a wonderful guitar. I picked it up this summer. I'm very content with it. It's a canon and extremely well balanced. Most importantly, it's super flamenco sounding.

Cheers.

Yeah. It is indeed loud, bright, and responsive. I don't play flamenco, but I think the cypress back and sides makes all the difference in producing that unique flamenco sound.

Hey Flamencoguru,

How long have you been playing for? Ive only been playing for a little over a year now and while its a struggle, its been the most fun. Just getting to a point where you feel like you control the piece rather than the other way around is well worth the 90% perspiration. Im curious how long someone of your mastery has been playing.

Thanks,

Mike
