Hi, my name is David ,I live on a small island just out of Auckland New Zealand .There's only 7000 people living here and life is nice and slow. It's the sort of place were drivers stop in the middle of the road to chat, and people don't lock there doors at home.I'd say it's as close to paradise as you can get.
I've taken up the classical guitar again after a long break (to busy with a young son).Actually it was him at 11 years old starting with electric guitar that inspired me.I looked up my old teacher and started trinity grades. I've bought a new Alhumbra luthier india spruce guitar (which I love ) and practice at least for a couple of hours a day(what a way to start the morning).
I guess you could say i'm hooked.I'd love to play in cafes some day.

David, my sympathy goes out to you. Your life must be terrible. Maybe you can sell your belongings and move somewhere more modern like New York city or Beijing. I am willing to help you make the transition if you sell your property to me at $5/hectre. I think this is a very reasonable price. You can even keep your new guitar.

Terrible????
Many people would sell all their belongings after their retirement and move to a place like David's island.
To me it's more terrible to live in a big city where so many crazy guys around..................
Moving to Beijing, China? NO WAY! I want live in a place where people can use Google and Yahoo without being "watched" by the "authority".

Ewok, I think vabbb was being VERY sarcastic. I thought it was kinda funny actually. Maybe I'm twisted too.

7000 people... man... that's smaller than a college town! Or maybe it is a college town! Welcome waihekedavid!
