Mr. Valence:
Are you sure you did not pawnshoped them yourself (in one of those tragic tequila inspired nights?) and let them get lost by not recovering them? Just to make sure.

I am adding PRESUMED to my header of stolen guitars.

Hello,
I dont know where you would get your info on these guitar but they are not stolen at all. All items that go thru a pawnshop are held for 21 days for a police serial number check to make sure they are not stolen. If they were stolen then the cops would have came and retrieved them. All the forums that you are posting in "PRESUMING" that they are stolen is not needed or welcome. If you believe that they are stolen the prove it before posting messages like this that are not true.

I wouldn't live in Az if it was the last place on earth.
Andmaybe you should take a pill that will give you ethics, instead of
doinging painful things to others.

Well thats too bad for you because AZ is one of the nicest places to live besides the heat in the summer. I have lived all over the US and was even born in Chicago. I have experienced a lot of what other places have to offer but AZ is great. Firsst of all we are running a business and we go right by the book. We do nothing that reflects bad ethics in anyway. Its not our fault that someone made a mistake with their old lady and lost their guitars. The person was informed at the time what he could do to get his guitars back but obviously didnt do it.

Do not say that. After I learned that God put Adam and Eve in Sedona, Arizona, that is the only place I want to live. Actually, this man is a really decent person to come here and explain. You should know the pawnshop oweners in Long Beach. That is where I lost couple of nice iinstruments. I don't believe the police goes there. They are afraid!

NoDo,
I apologize for what I have said.
There are two sides to the story.I think you may have been caught in the middle.
I think Jubi's wife took off with his guitars before any kind of divorce proceedings happened. That is theft, at least to me.
I am sorry if I implied that you did anything illegal.
But you might want to check the court docket before selling anything in the future.
However, I might visit Az ,for health reasons I can never live there.

My Spanish/English dictionary defines Veleta as either a Weathervane or a fickle person. I'm not sure if this was a genuine question or a stab at someone else. Sarcasm doesn't translate onto the written page.

King Ozymandias of Assyria was running low on cash after years of war with the Hittites. His last great possession was the Star of the Euphrates, the most valuable diamond in the ancient world.
Desperate, he went to Croesus, the pawnbroker, to ask for a loan. Croesus said, "I'll give you 100,000 dinars for it."

"But I paid a million dinars for it," the King protested. "Don't you
know who I am? I am the king!"
Croesus replied, "When you wish to pawn a Star, makes no
difference who you are."

PedroO,

What is this for a response?

If you do not respond according to the contents of this thread, then I
say :

Also a completely stupid remark according to the contents of this thread.

Hello PedroO,

All right, perhaps I did not understood your response to Tony but indeed you did
struck a sensible chord.
About the avatar, is it really intimidating you? I choose this one
because it matches exactly the way the late Mr. Perkins, a cat who was accompanying my life for almost
twenty years, looked at me when he did not got his wish.
Perhaps I will change it in the future for another one.

Hi, Joe, I actually kinda like your avatar. :)

At one point I had my cat as my avatar here as well. Jerome lost a long battle with kidney disease last Fall.

Maybe Mr. Perkins and Jerome are up there sharing memories of their silly CG playing peoples. He used to love to listen to me play, he was my biggest fan. He'd plop himself in front of my music stand doing the Buddha sit, close his eyes and sway his head like he was rocking out to it.

So cheers to our little feline (and canine) buddies that give us so much and ask so little in return.

Hey Sandra!
I know how you feel.
Our tuxedo cat T.T (torn tuxedo), died of kidney failure right at Thanksgiving-
15 years old, his sister Marlbes (a tortie) died 2 years before.
Now I know there is a heaven and they are playing together.
We have birds now- 2 cockatiels both 4 and gifts.Pepper and Barney.
Take care,

So what's happening around here anyway? Everyone just trying to embrace the love and warmth that exudes from the Iberian Wolf?
