GSI's string prices?

Wow - check out the new string prices. Looks like they're finally in the game. That's the one thing I've never bought from them. :oops:

Actually, now that I look around, I notice they're now publishing their guitar prices over $10K???

It is called: Inflation!!
What used to cost $10K last year is now $12K or more.
Dollar is in the ground in front of the Euro and othe currencies. It is cheaper to vacation in the US than in other places of the world.

I don't see the connection here though, are you saying inflation has somehow caused them to publish their prices up to a higher limit ($15K it seems)?

Just because prices naturally rise over the years doesn't mean marketing policies change...I've seen many a guitar here make the move from one price category to the next.

The bottom line is that we want to grow our web store business and we are trying to be a one stop shop for all things classical and flamenco. To do this, we intend to become competitive on price of all items including strings.

Tim you're right, those sound clips and videos were great. Very helpful for people to assess the sound of a guitar. I understand it is quite time consuming to though. And nothing beats playing the guitar.
