Hi everyone,

Just a head's up - we'll be redoing our forum shortly, and any posts submitted from here on out will probably not get transferred over. All previous posts up until this point will be moved over, as well as all member info.

So, bear with us during the switchover, it's likely some posts (those made from now until the new one launches) will be lost.

Will the forum be upgraded to phpBB3? Any new features you plan to enable?

We are launching a whole new site! It is supposed to have many new and great features. This has been in the works since about March of last year, so you can imagine how anxious we all are.

Should go live sometime tomorrow or Wednesday after we sort out a few last minute bugs. By the way, the look will be substantially the same but the entire back end and real store functionality will be completely new.

We look forward to you feedback and comments after the launch. Unfortunately, you may have to reset your password for both the forum and purchases.

But it might be delayed, because our posts are still here..
Last year they changed the site, also, which I thought was nice, alas, less clear in approach as this one, so they probably want to launch the new one when it is ready, ready.....
"practice slow, learn fast, deliver perfection", it could be a good guitarist's mantra, and GSI arguably wants to have a site in parallel to our religion..ups: musical instrument :twisted:

Exactly! There were a few minor bugs, but related to retail prices which have prevented the new site launch. We hope to have these worked out by our programmers in the next days, but we have been told it could be up to a couple of week! We really hope not.
