For the last couple of years I've been using Soudclick to host and share my recordings. But if I link to a recording in a forum like this one, others can only get it streaming. OK, you can download MP3s if you're a Soundclick member, but you've got to go to the site and log in, etc. And for the moment videos are streaming only, kind of like on Youtube.
So I'm looking for a free file-hosting site where I can upload files and link to them directly, so people can both stream or right-click and save/download -- without them having to go to another site, log in, deal with ads or whatever.
Are there are sites like that out there? I understand that files are often deleted on file-sharing sites if no downloads after a certian period of time, but that's OK I can still use Soundclick as a long-term online home for my recordings.
Any recommendations? Much appreciated.
